At Sense Center, there is a place for all children who need support. In addition to working with children with special educational needs, we also work with children with typical development. Children who develop within the normal age range can still face challenges due to traumatic experiences such as divorce, abuse, or the loss of a loved one, and may experience high anxiety, depression, and other difficulties. Sense Center is a space that combines the experience, dedication, and passion of our multidisciplinary team, striving to support children in the best possible way.
Recognizing, expressing, and managing emotions and feelings is fundamental for children’s self-regulation and their ability to handle everyday personal and social situations. Our emotional intelligence sessions are designed to help children manage anxiety, impulsivity, and challenges in social interaction and communication. Each session includes a learning component focused on understanding emotions and feelings using a variety of materials. Once these concepts are introduced, children explore their own experiences to identify and understand their emotions and feelings.
